Unfortunately we waited to the last minute to get tickets to Pena Palace and Regaleira, which meant we had to go in the afternoon when they were quite crowded. Regaleira was great. Pena Palace was worth seeing from the outside, but wasn’t worth the inside tour money IMO. Our driver Rui was very good and knew the area very well.”

“If you are looking for a tour of Sintra, you'll find many tours and they're all a little different. Our tour guide, Vasco, actually lives in the Sintra area and has a very wide knowledge of the area. He was a wealth if info with great stories. You can go with him and enter tge castle if you wish. The tour included lunch at a great little authentic restaurant. We toured Cascais which is a wonderful little town. And we were given the history of tge area. This,was a great tour!”
